Our Story

Hi! I’m Claire. Holistic nutritionist and almond butter enthusiast. I’m so excited to share the goodness with you and be a part of your wellness journey!

 

Growing up, I always ate pretty healthy overall but I loved eating a lot of sugar and processed foods like "nutrition" bars. And I never thought too much about it, even as I studied nutrition & exercise science and began working as a corporate wellness counselor.

It was only when I started experiencing a myriad of symptoms and couldn’t find any answers from traditional Western Medicine that I began to research and educate myself on the harmful effects of food additives, refined sugars, artificial ingredients, pesticides, GMOs, and other highly processed / chemical ingredients found in the majority of our food supply. Not just on our physical health, but mental health too!

A big part of my healing was changing the way I ate – transitioning from added sugars, processed ingredients, and inflammatory foods towards organic, unprocessed, nutrient-dense foods. Learning to prepare foods in ways that are easier to digest and allow our bodies to access their full nutritional value.

But you know the rule of thumb: if it’s good for you, it doesn’t always taste great. With how picky I became about ingredients, it was hard to find products I liked that met my strict standards...

So I set out to break those rules. I love creating my own recipes with real, whole food ingredients that not only nourish your body but taste amazing too. Because actually enjoying your food is just as important for your health and happiness. That’s a greater level of goodness.
